The Lost Virginity Tour

Four women living in an Arizona retirement community, Happy Trails Senior Resort Living, meet weekly for their Happy Trails Baking Club spending time swapping desserts and recipes. But, when these four friends start swapping stories about their “first time”, one of them bakes up an idea- to take a road trip across the country, revisiting each location where they lost their virginities. Tears, laughter, memories and secrets are all revealed as each lady shares the details about their first time. Will revisiting the past alter their futures?

The Lost Virginity Tour is about friendship, heartache, regrets and first loves. Take a journey down memory lane with these 4 ladies with turns toward the unexpected as each recounts an introduction to sex in often hilarious but sometimes harrowing detail!

What the Critics Say

“Playwright Cricket Daniel has her roots in stand-up, as is evident in her play’s crackling one-liners. However, don’t dismiss Daniel’s high-concept premise as sitcom-light; there’s plenty of dramatic heft behind her comic conceit. But the real charm of “Virginity” lies in the juicy roles it provides for mature female actors.”
– Los Angeles Times

“The Lost Virginity Tour Surprises And Raises Awareness Of Taboo Topic.”
– The Silicon Valley Voice

“Daniel has written the four scenes distinctively; one isn’t like the other. That focus works as the play unspools and each tale serves as a building block. ”
– Florida Theater on Stage

“Funny, profound, provocative…”
– Broadway World

“There’s a lot of heart, truth and funny in Cricket Daniel’s The Lost Virginity Tour with four wonderfully drawn women of a certain age.”
– Del Shores, Playwright

“Cricket Daniel’s ‘Lost Virginity Tour’ is one of those finely-written evenings of theater that both moves you to tears and has you laughing until your face hurts! Funny-as-all-heck dialogue, great female characters that any theatre performer would chomp at the bit to play, all wrapped up in a wonderful atmosphere of melancholy…a theatrical treat that should be performed in theatre’s everywhere!”
– Dennis T. Giacino (Author/Composer of Off-Broadway’s ‘Disenchanted!’)
